Sir Charles is a Nashville-based artist making cinematic indie rock with a distinctly British pulse. Dreamy guitars, big melodies, a little swagger, and songs that come from somewhere real.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE SONGS.
SIR CHARLES / A LIFE IN SIX STRINGS
CHAPTER 01
THE BEGINNING
Kentucky
“The songs come from a life actually lived.”
Raised in Kentucky and shaped by years spent in New York City and Nashville, Sir Charles has never followed a particularly straight path.
Music has always been the constant, but his life has moved through different creative worlds, from songwriting and performing to interior design, fashion, visual merchandising, furniture restoration, and creative direction.
CHAPTER 02
COMPOSITION. ATMOSPHERE. AMBITION.
New York
“There has never been much separation between those worlds.”
Before Nashville, there was New York City, where he worked in fashion and design, including visual merchandising at Saks Fifth Avenue and interior design in Manhattan.
Those years developed an instinct for composition, atmosphere, texture, color, and presentation that eventually found its way back into his music.
CHAPTER 03
SIXTEEN YEARS. A THOUSAND STORIES.
Nashville
“Everything that came before built the world.”
Before stepping fully into his identity as a solo artist, he spent years designing high-end residential interiors in Nashville, working on homes and projects connected to Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, Alan Jackson, Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, Chase Rice, Todd Chrisley, and others.
His work also included projects connected to the Nashville Parade of Homes.
CHAPTER 04
WHERE THE STORIES MEET
Sir Charles
“Now, the songs do.”
Sir Charles is a Nashville-based artist making cinematic indie rock with a distinctly British pulse. Dreamy guitars, big melodies, a little swagger, and songs that come from somewhere real.
The result sits somewhere between British cool and American grit, with shimmering guitars, hypnotic melodies, cinematic atmosphere, and an emotional honesty that keeps everything grounded.
Kentucky beginnings. New York ambition. Sixteen years in Nashville. Love and heartbreak. Creative risks. Reinvention. Getting older. Getting things wrong. Starting again.
And occasionally finding those rare moments when all the noise disappears and you remember exactly who you are.

A MOMENT OF PEACE07 / 13
SUN. SUN. SUN.
That feeling sits at the center of his debut solo single, “Sun Sun Sun.”
The song was written around the idea of finding peace of mind, even if only for a moment.
It is about recognizing that feeling when it arrives, holding onto it, and knowing how to find your way back when life inevitably gets loud again.
Sir Charles isn’t interested in writing songs because he thinks they are what people want to hear.
He is documenting his own experience while he is here.
The beautiful parts. The uncomfortable parts. The mistakes. The people. The places. The questions. The moments that somehow stay with you.
LEAVE BEHIND AN HONEST RECORD OF A HUMAN LIFE.
ALL THE STORIES FINALLY MEET. ALL THE STORIES FINALLY MEET.
“Sir Charles isn’t the beginning of a new story. It is where all the stories finally meet.”
THE MUSIC. THE DESIGN. THE PLACES. THE PEOPLE. THE HEARTBREAK. THE MISTAKES. THE REINVENTION.
Everything that came before built the world. Now, he is putting that world into songs.
